I have decided to step away from amateur racing to pursue my lacrosse passion. I will be attending St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, North Carolina to major in Sports Management for the Fall of 2019. My choice, although difficult based on my current results, has a better outcome and benefits in the future. Time will tell what the future will bring; I cannot wait to find out!!!

Bittersweet race this weekend at Pagoda Motorcycle Club; it was my last race since I will be attending college in August. I received a scholarship to play lacrosse for St. Andrews University; my other passion. Thank you to all of my sponsors, I would not have been able to do this without you. It is hard to walk away from such a great season, but I cannot pass up this opportunity.

Celebrated my first overall win in the School Boy 2 class Saturday Tomahawk MX Park (Hegesville, WV) for MAMA MX series race 12. Also finished 4th in College Boy 14-24, 10th in Open C, and 6th in 250C. Great weekend of racing, and of course mother nature was still up to her tricks. Track was moist Saturday due to Friday's rain; any moisture left in the dirt froze due to the 24 degree low overnight. Sunday brought a icy track in the morning that continued to thaw throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who has helped me get to this point in my racing career. Big things in the works for next year.

Great day of riding at Snakecreek MX Facility yesterday. Received a lot of rain overnight which made the track a little too wet, but our last race at Tomahawk MX may have the same or worse conditions. Always good to train with all types of conditions.

Great weekend of racing at Pagoda Motorcycle Club, but Mother Nature wasn't going to make it easy. And, the clutch gods were not in our favor. College Boy 14-24 moto 1 we lost the clutch that resulted in a DNF. Put a used clutch in to get us through the day, but that one was starting to show signs of failure. Got through the day Saturday with a pair of 3rd's (College Boy 14-24 & Schoolboy 2); lost a position in one of my classes. Two races are left, gut to make up a lot of ground. Sunday brought rain, a muddy track, and shortened motos and laps. Ended up with a 3rd (Open C) and 2nd (250C) favoring my clutch to finish the races. On to the next race.

Great weekend of racing at Virginia Motorsports park. MAMA personnel did a great job resurrecting the track again this year!! Weather was great; hot with a gentle breeze so you didn't know you were getting that end of summer sunburn... Finished 8th in Schoolboy 2, 9th in Collegeboy 14-24, 13th in Open C due to a crash, and 14th in 250C. Glad I was able to get back to the gate after the crash. Thank you to all of my sponsors; without you none of this would be possible!!!

Great weekend of racing at Doublin Gap this weekend, but it wasn't without its hiccups... Saturday brought heat and our recurring issue with tires/tubes. Can't seem to keep a valve stem from ripping off the tube. Finished 8th in Collegeboy 14-24, and 11th in Schoolboy 2. Great racing. Spun out during the Collegeboy 14-24 moto 2 due to the flat tire. Sunday morning brought a little rain in the morning, but the sun appeared and baked everyone again...LOL Had some close racing in the Open C and 250C classes, one that knocked me off the track into the woods; luckily I wasn't hurt. Ended up 15th in Open C, and 27th in 250C. Some of the biggest gates we have seen in a while; 21 riders for Open C and 31 riders for 250C. We are off to Happy Ramblers MC Club this weekend; can't wait for the gate to drop.

Interesting and rough weekend of racing; rain, heat, mud, crashes, and a stuck throttle. It rained off/on Saturday until the second motos started and then it poured. The round of second motos were cancelled when the sun came out. Sunday brought a first moto crash on the first lap (colliding with another rider) but battled my way back to 6th place. Lost my seat during the 250C race losing two spots ending up 12th. I was battling for position during Open C when crash number 2 occurred finishing off my throttle. Due to the throttle issue; I didn't make it out of 250C moto 2. Exciting/frustrating day of racing.

Riding at Southfork Competition Park today before the Mid Atlantic Motocross Association race this weekend. Track is looking good for the amount of rain they received.

Coming into this weekend, though we were in for another mudder; we were wrong for Saturday anyways. Track conditions were perfect. Got all of the motos in without a huge amount of rain. Finished 3rd in Collegeboy 14-24, and finished 7th in Schoolboy 2. Sunday was another story; the pond was starting to consume the track. Races were cancelled after the first moto.

Great weekend of racing at Happy Ramblers Motorcycle Club for Round 3 of Mid Atlantic Motocross Association series. Mason celebrating his 17th birthday on Saturday. Great to see friends and family watch him race. Friday night showers brought a slick track Saturday morning, and then the sun came out to cook the track and racers and spectators. Mason captured a 5th in College Boy 14-24 by going 6/5 in his motos, and a 6th in School Boy 2 finishing 7/6 in his motos. Sunday brought a totally different track due to the large amount of rain Saturday night. Even the quarter size hail didn’t help anything. The mud was thick and pasty. Finished 8th in Open C due to a spent clutch. Finished with an overall of 8th. Flip/flopped the clutch to get the second round for the second round of motos. Finished 5th in 250C as the mod was getting worse; finished 6th/5th in the motos. Overall great weekend, just have some bike work to do… Thank you to all of my sponsors for making this happen.
