Personal History
I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 4 years old. I have loved every minute I have spent on one. I did not start racing competitively until 2014. Since then, I have attended training clinics with pro racers and trained with several on my own time. I am committed to improving in every aspect of my racing. Each time I train or race I have new things to work on and improve. I am excited for the new season to begin to see how far I can take myself. Even with the support of my parents I know it is up to me to make it happen.
Riding Goals
To qualify for Loretta Lynn's and become a PRO rider. I know I have a lot of road ahead of me, but feel that I can achieve my goal.
Competitive Highlights
The 2016 12 race season ended with Mason placing 12th in his 125C class out of 61 riders. He also challenged himself by entering 2 additional classes; SchoolBoy 2 racing 125cc & 250cc bikes and Open C racing 125cc to 450cc bikes. Mason finished 5th in SchoolBoy 2 out of 51 riders, and 9th in Open C out of 118 riders. The 2015 season ended with Mason placing 7th in his 85CC 12-15 class out of 32 riders. He also challenged himself by entering 2 races in the Supermini 2 class, finishing 35th out of 62 riders. In 2014, Mason raced 14 races; 7 (out of 15) in the Mid Atlantic Motocross Association (MAMA) Series ending up 13th (out of 56 racer) in points, and 7 (out of 8 races) in the SpeedCiti Night Series finishing my season 4th (out of 30 riders) in points.
